Facebook or Fakebook? - More then 83 Million Facebook Accounts are Fake

In The Recent Report From 10-Q filing, Facebook accepted that more then 83 million accounts are fake, which is almost equal to the size of Egypt’s population. :O

83 million, it means total 8.7% accounts of Facebook are fake and out of this 8.7%, 4.8% are duplicate facebook accounts.

The Actual data is much more than the fact, as in the last march data filling, facebook official says that 40.3 million to 50.7 million accounts (4-6%) are fake. So with this, Facebook’s latest claim of 955 million active users would be downgraded to 872 million.

Facebook also says that they daily bans 20k plus accounts and 6,00,000 accounts are compromised. This data are huge and reason, advertisers are running away from facebook.

Facebook Status Character Limit is 60,000 - Update

Facebook Status Character Limit is 60,000 - Update
Facebook updated its status limit from 500 to 5,000 in September, and today announced its limit is now over 60,000!

That’s 1/9th the length of a novel. This gives users the flexibility to note down full-fledged blog posts or even longer content. However, I believe that Facebook was also annoying to neutralize one more selling point of its competitor.

i guess how it chose 63,206? Facebook engineer Bob Baldwin wrote, “I set the exact limit to something nerdy. Facebook … Face Boo K … hex(FACE) – K … 64206 – 1000 = 63206 “, in response to VP of Engineering Mike Schroepfer ’s post of the statement..

So now you can write post with more than 60,000 characters, including status, group and wall posts.

I'm liking Twitter more and more these days just because of that limit, actually. I don't have time to read a novel every time I want to network socially. If I'm not close friends with someone, all I want to do is hear their latest music recommendations or see their latest find for a funny video. I can skip short banality pretty easily, but the long stuff is a bit attention-grabbing...at least for me.

Send object from one Android Activity to another using Intents

How
if you're just passing objects around then Parcelable was designed for this. It requires a little more effort to use than using Java's native serialization, but it's way faster and I mean way, WAY faster.

From the docs, a simple example for how to implement is:

// simple class that just has one member property as an example
public class MyParcelable implements Parcelable {
    private int mData;

    /* everything below here is for implementing Parcelable */

    // 99.9% of the time you can just ignore this
    public int describeContents() {
        return 0;
    }

    // write your object's data to the passed-in Parcel
    public void writeToParcel(Parcel out, int flags) {
        out.writeInt(mData);
    }

    // this is used to regenerate your object. All Parcelables must have a CREATOR that implements these two methods
    public static final Parcelable.Creator<MyParcelable> CREATOR = new Parcelable.Creator<MyParcelable>() {
        public MyParcelable createFromParcel(Parcel in) {
            return new MyParcelable(in);
        }

        public MyParcelable[] newArray(int size) {
            return new MyParcelable[size];
        }
    };

    // example constructor that takes a Parcel and gives you an object populated with it's values
    private MyParcelable(Parcel in) {
        mData = in.readInt();
    }
}

Once you have your objects implement Parcelable it's just a matter of putting them into your Intents with putExtra():

Intent i = new Intent();
i.putExtra("name_of_extra", myParcelableObject);
Then you can pull them back out with getParcelableExtra():
Intent i = getIntent();
MyParcelable myParcelableObject = (MyParcelable) i.getParcelableExtra("name_of_extra");

 hope this code will helpful to you! :)
